Common questions
- What size urn do I need?
- The rule of thumb is one cubic inch of capacity per pound of body weight. A 180 lb adult needs roughly 200 cubic inches — a full-size urn. Keepsakes (20–69 cu in) hold a small portion for sharing among family.
- How long does shipping take?
- Orders leave our warehouse within 1 business day. Standard ground delivery is 3–5 business days within the continental US, shipped free and fully insured. Expedited options are available by phone.
- Can I have the urn engraved?
- Yes. Stone urns can be laser-engraved with a name, dates and a short inscription. Call us before placing your order so we can confirm layout and lettering — engraving adds 2–3 business days.
- What if it arrives damaged?
- Photograph the box and the piece and email us the same day. We ship a replacement immediately at no cost. You don't need to return the damaged urn first.
- Can I return an urn?
- Unused, un-engraved urns can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Engraved pieces are made to order and can't be returned unless there's a defect.
- How do I place ashes inside?
- Stone urns open at the base with a threaded plug or a lidded top depending on the style. Ashes usually arrive from the crematory in a sealed plastic bag, which is placed directly inside. We include instructions with every order.
